A collection of shells arranged on stretched canvas in blush pink, gold, iridescent white, and magenta, set against a coastal white background. Each shell is hand-painted with artist-quality acrylics and placed by hand. The finished canvas sits in a coastal ivory wood frame built by my husband. It reminds me of a tea party by the sea.

The shells carry the story. The oyster shells were legally harvested by my dad and his lifelong best friend from the shores of Falmouth, Massachusetts. The scallop shells were collected by my own family along the beaches of Juno Beach, Florida.
