Hand Sculpted Octopus Wet Look on Canvas with Handmade Frame 3D Ocean Art

About this piece

A hand sculpted octopus on canvas, finished with a pearlescent sheen that gives it a freshly emerged, wet look. Its tentacles curl over the top of the frame, so the piece reads differently from every angle.

The inset canvas behind it is painted a deep nautical blue, which the pearlescent surface stands out against. The sculpted texture, the small suction cups and the glossy water-like drips are all worked by hand.
